How to Replace Pre-Filters in Stages 1, 2, and 3:

- Discard three used filters and wash the housings with mild soap before rinsing. Install three new filters in their respective housings: a sediment filter in stage one, carbon block filters in stages two and three, and a carbon block filter in stage four.
- Tighten the housings. In the thread groves of each housing, please ensure a black O-ring is present. Tighten each housing with a wrench.
- After you’ve completed changing the filters, remember to turn on the cold water supply and OPEN the tank valve!
- Make sure there are no leaks!
Note: After removing the housing, remove the filthy filters and replace them with the new three pre-filters. Remember that the carbon filters in Stages 2 and 3 are the same.
